This tour gives you the opportunity to drive south and up north and visit the antiquities of Mycenae, Olympia, Delphi, the monasteries at Meteora in the city of Kalampaka. After that the antiquities of Vergina the mothercity of Alexander the Great where you will have a perfect full day with an overstay making sure you get the most out of your visit. Until the next day where you will visit Pella.

Ancient Corinth
Leaving from Athens driving through the costal highway to Corinth Canal for a short stop taking pictures and then on to visit Ancient Corinth.
Mycenae-Epidaurus
Proceed to Mycenae and the tomb of Agamemnon. After lunch proceed to Epidaurus theater.
Nafplio
From there we will go to the picturesque city of Nafplio the first capital of Greece.
Dinner and overnight stay at Nafplio.
Nafplio
After having breakfast morning visit of Palamidi Castle. You can then spend some extra time in Nafplio (other option visit Bourtzi Castle) or visit Argos.
Olympia
Then depart for Olympia through the central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis.
Dinner and overnight stay at Olympia.
Olympia
In the morning visit the archaeological site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the ancient stadium and the archaeological museum.
Delphi
Then drive on through the plains of Ilia and Achaia and over the magnificent cable stayed bridge which crosses the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea, arrive in Delphi.
Dinner and overnight stay at Delphi.
Kalambaka
In the morning visit the archaeological site and the Delphi Museum. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing rock formations of Meteora.

Meteora
In the morning drive up to Meteora and visit two of the Byzantine monasteries, built on top of gigantic natural sandstone rock pillars of weird shapes. The whole area of Meteora is a unique phenomenon and it is considered by UNESCO part of our world’s heritage.
Vergina
Depart for Vergina.
Dinner and overnight stay at Vergina.
Vergina
After breakfast, you will explore the archaeological site and the tombs of Philip II who conquered all the Greek cities, paving the way for his son Alexander and the expansion of the Hellenistic world.
The visitors will also see a family tomb, known as the “Tomb of Persephone”, with the incomparable fresco of the abduction of Persephone by Hades and a ruined building named “Heroon”, probably used for the worship of the dead royal members buried next door.
Pella
We continue on to Pella birthplace of Alexander the Great. Pella was the second capital of the ancient kingdom of Macedonia, founded by Archelaus (413-399BC), replacing the older city of Vergina to ensure a better communication with the rest of the Greek world, both via sea and mainland.
Thermopylae
After lunch, we depart for Athens, stopping at Thermopylae, the area where the Spartan King Leonidas and his 300 soldiers fought the Persians in 480 BC.
Arrive in Athens in the evening.
